ICON DEAD. With heavy hearts, we announce the passing

Roberto Cavalli, a fashion designer, has died at the age of 83.

It is thought that the Italian is worth more than £400 million ($497 million). He comes from a family of artists.

For decades, he was the darling of the international jet set thanks to his love of pythons and flashy animal prints.

ANSA, an Italian news agency, said that Cavalli died after a long illness at home in Florence.

According to an Instagram post by Sergio Azzolari, CEO of Roberto Cavalli, the company is sorry for Mr. Cavalli’s death and sends its condolences to his family.

Cavalli liked Ferraris, big cigars, and not buttoning his dress shirts to show off his tanned chest.

He owned a purple helicopter and a vineyard in Tuscany. He knew many famous people in Hollywood by their first names.

Sandy Nilsson, a Swedish model 45 years younger than him, has been his partner since 2014.

He became a dad for the sixth time when his partner had a boy last year.

The famous fashion designer said they would name the new employee Giorgio in honor of his father, who was killed by the Nazis during the Second World War.

During that time, he told the magazine Novella 2000, “Sandra is fine.”

“The baby was born a week ago in Florence. He is beautiful, and seeing him right after he was born made me cry big tears.”

“His name is Giorgio, like his grandfather, my father whom the Nazis shot in the Cavriglia massacre when I was four years old.”

Roberto had two kids with Silvanella Giannoni, whom he married for the first time in 1964 and then divorced ten years later. Their names are Tommaso and Cristina.

He also has three children from his second marriage to Eva Maria Duringer, who used to be Miss Europe. Their names are Robert, Rachele, and Daniele.

Roberto has talked a lot about how hard it was for him to grow up after his father was killed, which left him mute until he was 18.

“My father was shot by the Germans in July 1944 during a raid on Castelnuovo dei Sabbioni,” he had said before.

“He worked as a surveyor for a mine in the Valdarno.” I didn’t talk until 18.

“But life has been kind to me [and I have been] rewarded for everything.”

Cavalli was born on November 15, 1940, in Florence, Italy, which is the best place in the world to work with leather. He was famous for using printed leather and sandblasted, stretchy jeans.

The fashion icon started the business that bears his name in 1975. It quickly became famous for its animal print clothes.

Rich celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga, and Beyonce love the clothes it makes.

He was asked to update the Playboy Bunnies’ skimpy uniform in 2005, and as usual, he came up with one in leopard print.

Cavalli was praised by Giorgio Armani, who called him a “true artist” and said he would be “greatly missed.”

Armani said in a statement on X (formerly Twitter): “I have never had a more different view of fashion than Roberto Cavalli’s, but I have always had a lot of respect for him. Roberto was a true artist, and his use of prints was wild and wonderful. He could turn fantasy into seductive clothes.”

“I have learnt with great sadness of his passing: his Tuscan verve will be greatly missed.”

She called him a “legend” and posted a picture of herself with the fashion designer on her Instagram stories.

“Not sorry in style and spirit,” the Victoria’s Secret model wrote. We lost a great person today. “Rest in peace.”

Victoria Beckham, who used to be in Spice Girls and now designs clothes, called him a “icon.”

7 Homework Questions

Several parents shared their children’s homework, that made them tilt their heads and call for help. Fortunately, some Reddit and Twitter users came to the rescue and shared their two cents. The older one gets, the more complex educational work assigned to students gets. However, there are some instances where kids receive complicated homework. When such instances arise, some parents seek the help of the online community to derive an answer for their little ones. Some of them are shared on the Reddit and Twitter platforms.

A mom was puzzled by her first-grade son’s English homework, where he had to encircle the photos that had the same ending sound as a fish’s fin. However, the options available were far from the picture. The available choices included a hamburger bun, a frog, a jar lid, and a spoon. Some Reddit users offered their thoughts to the clueless mom, stating that the ending sound did not necessarily have to rhyme with fin. Some answers included bun and spoon, which both ended with an “n.”

Kindergarten homework questions are usually easy to answer with an adult’s help. However, one parent couldn’t think of the three-letter word required to name the picture printed on the activity sheet. The picture included a rabbit with her bunnies playing.Fortunately, a kind Reddit user thought of the best possible answer: pet. “These kinds of worksheets try to make the last one more difficult by switching the sound of the letter to the end of the word to try and throw the kid off,” the person said.

Math problems for elementary students are often easily computed with all the numbers given in the problem. However, a Grade 3 student had to solve the question, “Janell had 15 marbles. She lost some of them. How many does Janell have now?”One Reddit user suggested that the answer was less than 15 but did not think it was a fair question for someone in the third grade. Other users believed that the student should answer in a similar manner as the question, such as “Janell lost her marbles.” Another user said, “She has some left.”

A Six-Year-Old’s Homework

While some educational problems for six-year-olds are visual, one student’s assignment was beyond the comprehension of her parents. On her activity sheet appeared a print of a paint splatter and several apples. The question read, “How many apples could be covered by the paint. There cannot be more than 20.” Several Reddit users were also confused by the question, while one believed it was a riddle.

Grade 1 Math

One Twitter user shared a Singaporean math problem for grade one students, and it seemed almost impossible to solve. However, one person solved the problem but tweaked the question a bit.

Another Math Problem

Another math question was posted on Twitter, leaving people confused. The question made students calculate the perimeter of a shape best on the calculations of another rectilinear shape. One person replied to the post with a complicated answer and sarcastically said, “It’s very much justified to ask these to a [ten-year-old].”

Solving for X

Math can sometimes be complicated but often has one solution. However, this one math problem was too complex for the Twitter world. “An orchestra of 120 players takes 40 minutes to play Beethoven’s 9th Symphony. How long would it take for 60 players to play the symphony? Let P be the number of players and T the time playing,” the question read. While it may be too complex, one Twitter person replied: “The math is irrelevant in the case of this Beethoven 9 problem. As a performer who has performed it many times, the speed of the symphony is NOT a function of the number of musicians performing it.”
